Hi, everyone! My name is Anna Kolomiitseva, welcome to my proz.com profile! I am a professional conference interpreter. My working languages are German, English, and Ukrainian. Based in Berlin, I also travel to other places in Europe for work. Looking back at ten years of my career, I can say it’s been a great time! I visited so many interesting sites and met wonderful people, which brings me to the conclusion that

interpreting is not just what I do. It is something I really love! 

My professional background
In 2008, I graduated from Karazin National University, Kharkiv School of German philology and translation. 2007, as a fellow of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), I took part in the internship at the University of Mainz, Germany. From 2009 to 2011, I was teaching translation theory and praxis at the Department of Foreign Languages of Kharkiv National University.
In 2011, I became a freelance translator, and in 2015, a freelance interpreter. Until 2022, I was working in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and since 2022 I've been based in Berlin, Germany.

These are some of my clients: Goethe-Institute, Caritas, GIZ, British Council, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Heinrich-Böll-Stifting, Deutsche Welle, Die Welt, Kyiv Dialogue, and a number of German federal ministries. I interpreted at the Ukrainian Recovery Conference in Berlin in 2024 and at many other high-level occasions.
My services: 

simultaneous interpretation onsite and online, consecutive interpretation onsite and online; chuchotage or whispered interpreting. I also offer subtitling, and voice-overing.
