But there was one Elephant- - a new Elephant- - an Elephant's Child- - who was full of 'satiable curtiosity, and that means he asked ever so many questions…. He asked his tall aunt, the Ostrich, why her tail-feathers grew just so, and his tall aunt the Ostrich spanked him with her hard, hard claw.
I Keep six honest serving-men:

I send them over land and sea,

У них был только торчащий, большой, как башмак, черненький нос, которым они умели лишь вертеть из стороны в сторону, но не могли ничего взять. Но один Слон был особенным - он был еще Слоненком, наполненным нескончаемым любопытством, а это значит, он задавал очень много вопросов... Он спросил высокую тетю Страуса, почему вместо хвоста у нее такие перья, а в ответ получил шлепок ее огромной ногой.
Есть у меня шесть честных слуг –
Мои учителя.
Зовут их: Почему и Что, Где, Кто, Как и Когда.
Плывут они на запад, шагают на восток,
Чтоб выполнить приказы и уложиться в срок.
