It started perhaps one or two months ago, that I get old job postings that can be dated anything from a day ago to a month or or more ago. It has never happened before. What is the reason?

Proz staff are messing around with the site but are trying to keep secret what they are doing. Many people have complained about it in forum topics, which you have clearly not noticed. Calls for more transparency with respect to the site are being ignored by staff. They just want your money, not to deliver anything like service.
