The Swedish term has quite a range of uses. In QA contexts it could for instance be a decision to discard or use a batch of product that had been investigated. In other contexts it could be decisions about how a resource (e.g. a building) is to be used, or how a company's annual profit is to be distributed. The best English term(s) would depend on context.
