Latin term

honorifice

Latin to English Other Education / Pedagogy Diploma
The sentence is:
[Name of Lady] in patria cui nomen Angola nata, Licenciati Gradum in praeclara Liberalium Artium Facultate,[...] subsidiis paedagogicis instructum felicitier et **honorifice** adepta est, cursibus suis de more peractis et publica probatione praemissa...

I don't know if "honorifice" can be interpretated here as "with honours", so that it could be translated "has happily reached with honours the degree of Bachelor in the prestigious Faculty of Humanities".

Thank you for any help!

Discussion

Rebecca Davis Feb 23, 2010:
"with honours" is usually translated as "cum honoribus"; "honorifice" usually means "honorably" or "respectfully"
