Part of the project involves filming the children as they produce the images so that's where the "svolgimento" comes into it.

Now we know that this is a letter of engagment, which when accepted becomes one half of a contract, then the translation has to be just as precisely vague and generic as the Italian. Of course the initiative is in fact a project, but the letter says it is un'iniziativa and not a progetto, so why should the English "improve" on the original. If it was advertising OK, but you have to cover your rear-end with contracts.
