Refurbishment of heat plants is a package of measures that includes replacement of aged boilers with new ones, replacement of corroded and broken water or flue gas pipes in boilers, replacement of boiler burners, repair or replacement of damaged and aged boilers’ sealing and insulation, etc. The modernization includes installation of SCADA systems, installation of economizers for utilization of waste heat from flue gases, special on-line monitoring systems for furnace fire visualization and flue gas analysis, etc.
