English term

grain hole

English to Norwegian Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering Instruction manual for a belt cooker
This is about cleaning this machine, and this is the sentence: "Take extra care to clean spray nozzles and grain holes thoroughly."
The spray nozzles are part of a washing unit within the machine. I'm not sure if "grain" refers to the size of the holes or the food that might be involved. It does not occur anywhere else in the 9000 word text, nor in the technical drawing. Any help as soon as possible would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, I don't have a link to it, nor should I post the brand name, but it's a belt cooker, like I said, i.e. a conveyor belt that cooks food (for industrial food production). I was hoping someone would happen to know just what a grain hole is.

Context, context, context I'm afraid you have to disclose more facts about this machine, so give us a link to the real thing, please;)
