Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

PRO (3): AZ Translation, definitions, melayujati

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

agree Nordianah Ahmad : The inventor of the term Michael Gurstein defined "Community Informatics" as the application of info. and comm. tech (ICTs) to enable community processes and the achievement of community objectives.” This translation is more accurate than the other.

masyarakat informatik mampan

sustainable = mampan
community = masyarakat
informatics = informatik
Example sentence:

sustainable development

pembangunan mampan

Note from asker:
This one sounds good but gramatically I think, informatik komuniti mapan is well constructed. I'm confuse, which one should be the right one?
Peer comment(s):

neutral yam2u : agree with your individual translation but grammatically your construction is incorrect

disagree Nordianah Ahmad : Not really agree on the sentence structure grammatically. It shoud be the other way around.

informatik kemasyarakatan berlanjutan

You won't get any hits by Googling this, but it's how I understand it.

My explanation:
health informatics= informatik kesihatan, therefore,
community informatics= informatik kemasyarakatan (societal/social/community informatics)
Frankly I don't know what the term CI is in Malay.

sustainable= berlanjutan/mampan

You experts out there are most welcome to improve on this, TIA!

informatik masyarakat mampu bertahan

community informatics - informatik masyarakat
