Scultura greca. Si sta parlando di un gruppo frontonale raffigurante intricate vicende mitologiche che vi risparmio.
Al termine si dice che:
Pelops then slew Myrtilos, who with his dying breath cursed him and his descendants. These were none other than the Atreids, the tragic family of Agamemnon.
Tutto chiaro: P uccide M che, esalando l'ultimo respiro maledice lui e i suoi discendenti, che poi altri non furono che gli Atridi, la sventurata ....
Sventurata che? Famiglia non mi piace, non è stirpe di Agamennone, perché gli Atridi semmai sono stirpe di Atreo (che era il padre di Agamennone e Menelao). Casata mi sa di nobilotti del Medioevo... che mettereste?
