The alienation includes the meaning of being affected by an external factor, a group or whatever.

The root غرب in arabic represents this idea of something external, something you can not control.
Then اِغْتِراب is the masdar of a Form VIII verb which conveys the reflective or passive meaning of form I (غرب), in other words it meaning being excluded (from the society)

غربة is not equal to اغتراب. Also a word has a meaning and this meaning doesn't change with the context (in this case, this word keeps it original meaning be it alone or in context.) Ahmed, don't see any personal attack here, it's just my opinion.

بعيدًا عن الترجمة الحرفية لمعنى الكلمة وفي ضوء السياق، أعتقد أن أصح وأنسب ترجمة لهذا الكلمة هي "في عزلة/ معزل عن" أو "التي كانت بعيدة عن" أو "التي كانت بمنأى عن" بغض النظر تمامًا عن المعنى الحرفي للكلمة.
