ARCOT is the ACS (Access Control Server) provider for Citi UAE's 3-D Secure program. They provide a web-based interface through which our card-holders can register and create a password for completing transactions at 3-D Secure participating merchants. When a customer has created a password and subsequently attempts a transaction at a 3-D Secure merchant, Arcot generates a pop-up which prompts the CM to enter the password. Arcot then authenticates the password and routes the transaction to Citi's Authorization system.
