قرب الوقود

ٍSingular is قربة. More traditionally skin -especially goat skin- used for carrying water, but that is the Arabic meaning of bladder in this context, namely sacks for carrying liquid made of impermeable flexible material.

Follow up on Ayman\'s note below:
The link provided by Ali Khaireddine above (http://www.fabricsolutions.com.au/liquid_bladders.htm) clearly shows what most be would call قرب of different sizes. One of the pictures clearly depicts how the bladder is filled.

I am a little puzzled by the dicomfort toward using this word, while its definition is a flexiible container for holding fluid. It is just that the usage in the context of fuel is not within our normal sphere of experience, but then the same thing applies to the word \"bladder\".

Now look at the following and see if قربة is not the best term for these objects:

Pillow tanks and bladder tanks:
http://www.interstateproducts.com/bladder_tanks_sizes.htm

Same but used for fuer:

Petro Flex Bladder tank: I would call it قربة بترول

Old fuel bladders:

I should note that my discussion should not take away from Sami\'s answer, which is also correct. However, the analogy in my humble opinion (which is often wrong), is like \"Sacks for storing fuel\" and \"fuel bladders\", one is a description, the other is a term.

neutral amana(Ayman B.) : How can fuel get stored in قـــرب? and how many do you need to transport large amounts?

Thanks. a. I did not mention storage, but we can try pouring, as it worked before with water. b. Divide the amount of fuel by the volume of one bladder = number of bladders. c. You should ask the asker.
