En un comentario sobre diversas versiones bìblicas inglesas, se viene cuestionando el trabajo realizado por un grupo de académicos que alteraron el versìculo citado, entre otros, porque no han tenido en cuenta los manuscritos originales griegos. ¿Cuàl serìa la traducciòn màs apropiada para este modismo? Si la traducción se ciñe a la crítica a las traducciones inglesas o se localiza la cuestión aludiendo también a las versiones de nuestro idioma.
Es algo que puede enriquecer la traducción y hacer más interesante la cosa.
Obviamente sería una recreación y habría que consultarle al autor o a la editorial.
Lo más prudente sería limitarse a trasladar lo que se dice, sin aludir a versiones en español pero si hay flexibilidad y diálogo con el autor se puede plantear.
Un argumento a favor sin duda es que quien lee la Biblia suele leerla en su idioma y no conocerá en principio las versiones en inglés ni sus diferencias o errores de interpretación, algo muy conocido ya desde la dichosa manzana por cierto.
