University degree or vocational qualification

It is always difficult to translate educational terms but I think that this covers the meaning of the text in Spanish.
Example sentence:

Los Ciclos Formativos de Grado Medio pertenecen a los estudios de Formación Profesional y tienen como objetivo capacitar al estudiante, de una manera práctica, de los conocimientos y destrezas necesarias para poderse incorporar al mundo laboral

agree Orlando W. Robson : yeah, me too

agree Nigel Wheatley : 'medio grado' is sub-university level, so "vocational qualification" is an excellent translation for GB English

agree Charles Davis : Yes, I think "grado medio" must refer specifically to a "ciclo formativo": it's the alternative to "bachillerato".

other educational/training certificate/diploma

This one is based on comments made by my Spanish husband who believes it refers to any other diploma/certificate given upon completing an educational or training program that is not a full university degree program. He thinks that it can even refer to a "bachillerato". In brief, someone who has finished his/her educational program successfully.
