Hello,
has anybody been using Skype in combination with Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000 Webcam?
How easy/reliable is it?

Logitech Quickcam and Skype - it works! Feb 27, 2006

For the most part, that is. My camera is 1.3 megapixels. Both video and sound are pretty good. There are occasional distortions, but, overall, I'm really pleased. It sure beats the phone.

One problem, though, is that the video option doesn't seem to work for conference calls.

belated thanks for replying to my post.
I have now acquired a Logitech 5000, but have not been able to try it yet, because I am getting fatal errors , and I think it may be due to the new software... so I'll have to check a few things first.
