Adam Siemienski . I have been working in Trados since version 2.0. It was great tool, very reliable. My favorite was version 5.5. SDL Trados has the same name and some really great features, such as autosuggest or segments repair. It is also quite easy to customize. It has numerous bugs however, some from years already. I save the file frequently to avoid loss of work. Crashes are more than frequent, support is poor. Multiterm is a disaster, I use memQ to generate MT glossaries. That said, it is still the best tool for me, and I use many of them.

Paulo Conceição . I've been using Trados/SDL/Studio since the dongle age. This tool has evolved pretty much, but the most recent features need real improvements, like the Cloud projects.
Technical speaking is a demanding tool, less than 16 RAM and you will struggle to use it.
I use the Pro version, with more features that cover my production needs. Also manages those collaboration projects with an easy and intuitive process with the Create/Return package feature.
The SDL Store with additional apps is an excellent feature that allows you to customise the tool to your needs with free extra features that can increase your productivity.
A massive improvement was done when dealing with PDF and other graphic formats, providing excellent results with just a click of a button.
The most relevant cons are some occasional buggy situations out of the blue and some constant issues like those I feel with Powerpoint editing. Sometimes they get corrupt after translation.
I'm very familiar with this tool so I'll keep using it, but SDL should keep an eye on features and prices provided by the competition, like memoQ.

How easy is it to learn?
The most complicated and non-user friendly CAT tool ever. It is more than time to enhance the quality of this CAT as it is the most requested CAT tool asked by clients. Really disappointed.

It is more than time to make this CAT, which is the most requested by translation agencies, an easier and less complex tool. Exceeding in non useful resources, crashing all the time, it is the worst translation application I have ever seen.
