Norwegian term
avlut
Norwegian to English
Law/Patents
Poetry & Literature
In a patent document relating to additives to fowl litter to prevent digestive bacterial colonization:
"Med avlut fra et surt eller nøytralt cellulosesulfitkokk forstås avluten som fås etter behandling ave trevirke med en..."
The Norwegian in this document seems to have a Danish influience (although I don't believe it's that old), but my Danish dictionaries and technical books don't help much either.

: Norsk Miljøtesaurus is a useful site, and it lists the Norwegian term "avlut", but does it give corresponding English terms?
