I have a wood carved helvetiorum fidei ac virtuti lion that has been passed down to me for many many many years. A couple of years back I found reference to how the families recieved this "medal of honar" carved out of wood but can find no reference about it at all. Would you be able to help me with this or at least direct me to where I can read the history on the ceremony.
