Further to Yakov's question: I have again checked the meaning of societario, this time in my monolingual Italian dictionary. It should in fact mean 'relating to a company' however this doesn't seem to fit the context at all. I'm baffled. Any suggestions?
Peer comment(s):

neutral Yakov Tomara : I think 'societaria' here stands for 'related to a company' rather than for 'social,' what do you think?

I based my reply on the context of the 88,000 declared 'miliardari' in this area, which is why I think societaria refers more to society in general, however I am sure you know more about Russian history than I do.
