Timo's response is valid. These aluminium items could be nails used to attach roofing felt to a wooden surface, for example. Screws would be used to affix aluminium siding to vertical members as hammering nails would damage the siding.

neutral Timo Lehtilä : I can't anyhow understand why it isn't 'nails' in English. // It seems I can add my subsequent response here. First there really are all kinds of aluminium items, but then "rakennushelat, naulat, metallikomponentit" can be of any metal.

Aluminium is a soft metal. It is attached with screws.
