The graft passing pin is loaded into the drill until the thicker
portion of the pin is loaded. Avoid loading the pin at the thin
portion. The pin is then driven completely through the drill
bullet and through the femur, exiting the medial side of the
patient’s knee (Figure 3). The drill bullet is then drilled into the
lateral knee until it stops against the arm of the U-Guide (Figure
4). Remove the U-Guide bullet and the U-Guide assembly. Do
not twist the suture.
The graft passing pin is then advanced medially until the smaller
caliber wire segment is visible in the femoral tunnel (Figure 5).
