The deposit was explored from 1946 to 1967 by the method of exploration adits, drifts and raises. The ore body was opened by six exploration adits from the surface and two drift levels (1,045) and (1,114). Mining proceeded using the method of room and pillar. Waste rock was deposited freely on the ground surface in waste heaps with a thickness of several tens of meters.
