French term

dosage lacrymal

French to English Medical Medical (general) Ophthalmology
Is there an equivalent English term for this? I've found lacrimal determination but I'm not at all convinced...

Here's the context:

I was wondering about lacrimal analysis, but then analysis comes up at the end of the same sentence, so perhaps not.

Many thanks.

agree Joanne Archambault : with this wording as the best way to get across that inflammatory markers are measured in lacrimal fluid (probably by ELISA)

You decide. I don't have time now.
Note from asker:
Surely it's the level of inflammatory markers in the tears that's being determined?

1.ˆaugmentation des protéines au-dessus de 6ˆg/Lˆ;

2.ˆaugmentation de l'albumine au-dessus de 50ˆmg / Lˆ;

3.ˆtracé électrophorétique de type inflammatoire (diminution du lysozyme au-dessous de 25ˆ% et augmentation des protéines de migration rapide (PMR) au-dessus de 35ˆ%)ˆ;

4.ˆIg G 100 mg /Lˆ;

5.ˆrapport ICAM larmes x 100 / ICAM sangˆˆ1.
