Beschreibung der Galerias Vittorio Emanuele II
Es geht um eine Beschreibung der Galerias Vittorio Emanuele II in Mailand. Im Text heißt es:
"Turn left to come face to face with the dazzling opulence of Galerias Vittorio Emanuele II.
Built in the late 19th century, **they always had the luxury in their foundation**."
Weiß jemand, was gemeint ist?

Luxus was bereits/ist Teil ihres Fundaments.

: Having looked at the original Portuguese, I believe "foundation" in this instance is intended to mean "from the beginning", also "schon immer".
