Dictionary.com 还好，每上一次Urban Dictionary 我就发现每天都有新词被制造出来。Stony-hearted 其实是一个很好的词，有意境，容易理解，一看就知道什么意思。想来当初把它改变成adverb 的在用也有这个原因，我今次冒昧了，不好意思。
还是要多口一句，认同 Jyuan，读者看懂最紧要，当年刚上大学，作为历史系学生总是喜欢辞藻华丽的东西，一开始交的论文被教授狠狠刷下来，原因很简单：用的字太深奥，没必要；写的漂亮，却没内涵。现在看19岁时写的东西，简直惨不忍睹。

我很同意你和 jyuan 的意见。现在国内的文风如何我不太清楚，只能说老早以前（即我在国内那时）社会上以及教育部门对堆砌辞藻是绝对不提倡的。

而是讀者能否看懂的問題。再直白一點吧，我真的沒看懂。stone-hearted 我聽過，stonyheartedly 好像說不通。不是什麽adjective 加個 ly 就可以變成 adverb 的。
