to be correlated with symptoms

"la clínica" is very ambiguous
Peer comment(s):

neutral Neil Ashby : Nothing to do with trial results/outcomes. "la clínica" = the patient's signs, symptoms, imaging tests, etc. It's not ambiguous, used all the time in medical texts.

correlate clinically

“Correlate clinically” – you may see some radiologists use this phrase in your report. So, what does “correlate clinically” mean? This is a message for your doctor to take the finding and determine its relevance with regard to your particular symptoms, history, labs, etc.

agree Anne Schulz : Although this phrase is typically used with unclear/unspecific findings, rather than a normal x-ray, I can't imagine what else it should be.

Correlate with the clinical/medical record or history (of the patient)

This is the abridged form of “historia clínica”, “medical/clinical record or history” in English, meaning the account of a patient´s conditions and their response to treatment and care.

Correlate with the clinical analysis/picture

clinical correlation is recommended

A clinicopathological correlation (CPC) can be described as an objective summary and correlation of clinical findings with gross and microscopic findings and with the results of other studies performed at autopsy, to describe the death and elucidate the sequence of events leading to death

In pathological report we often see the sentence: Clinical correlation is recommended. " This simply means that mere examination of the pathologic material (like histology, immunohistochemistry results, etc) alone may not suffice, but must be correlated with the patient's clinical findings, chief complaint and presentation, pertinent physical examination, and other relevant ancillary tests such as biochemistry results, and imaging studies (like CT scan, MRI, etc.) if available,
