3.3.1 Adjusting the bottle chain

Place the suction catch head at its lowest point
above the conveyor belt.

NOTE
The gearbox should now be in the first half of its
“dead position”. This can be checked with the
identifying marks at the input axle. See fig. 11.
If this setting is not correct, dismantle the chain
between the head axle and the second axle. See
fig. 12.
1. Put the gearbox into the first half of its “dead
rotation” and reassemble the chain.
2. Then with the adjustable drive chain wheel of
the bottle chain place an engaging dog on the
bottle chain in the middle of the suction cups of
the suction header. See fig. 13.

3.3.2 Tensioning the bottle chain
This chain must be tensioned where indicated in
the fig. 10.
1. Unscrew bolt (1). See fig. 14.
2. Now retense the spring using bolt (2) until it can
no longer be tautened.
3. Now unscrew bolt (2) two revolutions.
4. Screw bolt (1) tight.
