＂允許＂只是allow的譯法之一，例句中的allow在繁體中文通常處理為＂能讓＂或＂讓...能（夠）＂。

偶然看到一个网页，网页题目是是个世界著名华人经济学家的文章，网页内含有这几个词。
overhead 被翻译为“上头”(overhead )
制度费用（institutional)
我不知道那个经济学家是不是这样用词，因为我再也没有打开过那个网页。各位不妨看看。如果真是来自他的著作，那么，各行各业的这个家那个家也太好当了。

無論如何是說明用這部機器，所做成的產品有Home Style 的效果。不到“1500欧”非“譯審”的理解是類似簡單“家庭菜式”或“家常菜式”的烹調。By the way， 海鮮“雀巢”是一道很受歡迎的廣東“家常”菜式，請慢用！

关于5-Star Home Style Breader这句的理解，PKChan和Wherestip也给出很多意见，我完全认同他们的理解。这部Breader机器的功能就是给食品apply surface texture，并且食品看起来就像自己在家里动手做的那样。Handles all flour and home style coatings 说明了这个功能，因此这个句子绝非说明Breader的“家居风格”和“表面纹理”。surface texture是一个专业术语，不能乱译。注意这个公司（网站）是卖专业的食品加工设备的，网站的内容不是给普通人看的，而是给专业人士看。不恰当的翻译会造成Lost in localization!
这牵涉到另一个话题，跨行业翻译，不能跨得太离谱。

一看到home-style我就立刻想到家常这个词，那么普遍使用，没有太严格的定义，大概适合被拿用吧。
The new 5-Star Home Style Breader is uniquely designed to apply an appealing home style surface texture with consistency and high quality.
新款 五星家常式脆皮机 具有独特的设计优势，能够在食物表面上涂成质量高、效果规范的家常式外皮。
appealing 想不出来合适的说法呢。。。

是，后来我返回去看前面的发言，也看到 pk 提到 “家常式”。 “家常式” 确实是恰当。
appealing 是不是可用 “诱人的”？ “令人垂涎的” 似乎有点儿过分。

诱人 just does the trick, thanks. 垂涎 is lovely - I didn't know that word - but I think rhythmically I don't want to give it a full four characters in this sentence. It would end up over-emphasising a minor point.
I missed that PK post, but there it is, so I can't claim originality...
So, with just a little help from my friends, my version would be:
