I must say that I continue to be breathless at how well ProZ.com anticipates / accommodates the needs of freelance translators. . . I was tearing my hair out and tossing small wads of money down the drain trying to find an invoicing program that did only what yours now does and nothing more.

I depend on the Blue Board to help me evaluate potential new clients. ProZ.com was instrumental in helping me get clients when I was starting out!

I have acquired 60% of the total number of my clients via ProZ.com. The site is extremely efficient and is visited by serious outsourcers. Therefore, I will stay with the site!

I was able to become a full-time freelance translator with clients met through ProZ.com. It was the start to my new life and I haven't looked back since!

While I have been part of the community for more than five years, I just became a member last month. I cannot believe how many contacts I have made since becoming a (paying) member... I have three new clients and these are some of the best clients I have ever had.

I have been a paying member for about 9 months. During that time I have met more than new 10 clients, most of them paying really well and usually on time.

The site is very, very helpful. And meeting even one client can pay for the membership costs!

This is simply the best, most comprehensive support network and best moderated web site I could wish for as a translator.

ProZ.com is an essential tool for translators and interpreters. For me, it is a virtual work and marketplace. Forums, Powwows, conferences and group buys add a very beneficial social component without which many translators would feel very lost and alone in today's market.

The KudoZ section has become a regular part of my daily working routine. I can always count on it for useful information and interesting linguistic and cultural tidbits, as well as insights into my colleagues backgrounds and thought processes.

This past year has been great. I woke up one morning deciding to go back to translating full time but I was not 100% sure that my decision was the right one. I left my "safe" English teaching job and recontacted my old clients. It didn't take long and I was soon back on track. Thanks to ProZ I have made contacts with new agencies around the world. Je ne peux pas dire dans quelle proportion mon CA a augmenté suite à mon adhésion car j'ai pratiquement démarré mon activité freelance il y quelques années grâce à Proz. Ou alors il faut dire de 0 à 100% ! car mes premiers clients, je les ai trouvés sur Proz. Ma cotisation était payée (largement) dès mon premier contrat.

Avant tout, ProZ représente pour moi une plate-forme d’échanges internationale permettant de côtoyer d’autres traducteurs via les forums et les formations –je pense notamment au France Regional Event- . J’apprécie également la possibilité de pouvoir obtenir des informations sur les agences de traduction et les donneurs d’ordre en général grâce au Blue Board (certes non exhaustif, mais ô combien utile !), et de l’aide en cas de besoin avec les KudoZ. De plus, grâce à ProZ, j’ai trouvé un client avec lequel je travaille régulièrement : espérons que cela ne soit que le début d’une longue série !...

En fait, ProZ offre l’opportunité de développer son réseau à la fois en termes de « collègues » et de clients. Un investissement que je suis donc prête à renouveler !

Being a ProZ.com member makes you more visible. Most of the jobs are awarded directly, bypassing the bidding system.

I have been aware of ProZ.com for a long time, but it never occurred to me to join until recently! Now that I have joined, I wish that I had done so years ago!

I think the site is very helpful to translators and I would like to spread the word around, so that every translator could benefit from the high quality of the site and also have the opportunity to share many doubts with other translators.

I just wanted to say I think this site is fantastic, I've been a member for a couple of years now and I've had so much help from it - getting work, using the KudoZ facility and making contact with other translators.
