I am an experienced professional translator with an engineering background. Translation is a passion of mine and always has been. This process goes beyond just turning a sentence into the equivalent phrase in a different language. An exceptional work of translation requires taking into account all of the cultural differences by having a working knowledge of cultural norms and other important factors to make the accurate translation. The translation never should read like it was translated, but it was written in the target language. This is my philosophy as a translator. Translations are always done manually and managed with the help of professional CAT (memoQ) and proofreading tools.
