Creative self-employment?

Well, I love to joke about myself but really I enjoy working in so many things. Most of them are related to communications, arts and languages.

For so many years, to know Spanish and English as mother languages was a real asset and it was my best attraction to business firms and companies when I got to Italy, in 1972.

Many companies did not have personnel to reply in good English to foreign companies and this enabled me to find good jobs much before obtaining my second citizenship: Italian.

An American university would grant degrees to Italian students so one of the translations jobs I could do for more than 6 years was that one of translating Economics, Science, Medicine and Marketing thesis for these experienced Managers, CEO and Bank offices who had not been able to go or complete University degrees during their youth. It was a real challenge.

Spanish language jobs were requested less so I would translate more from English-Italian and vice-versa. Yet, I could teach spanish to Latin American Export managers who were working for Perugina chocolate company, now Nestle.

I have been using these three languages during all these long almost 40 years in Italy and I am proud and honoured of having being chosen to work through ProZ.com and meet many potential collaborators to enjoy the arts of communications.
