под гнойными процессами подразумеваются - пиосальпинкс, пиовар, и т.д.
purulent secretions - sounds like mere presence of pus in Douglas pouch. Which might be the result of many conditions...
"Infectious processes" are not necessarily pyogenic. Not every pelvic infection is accompanied with purulent discharge (e.g. - chlamydia infection)
