insulation material
Sounds like pakningsmateriale must be the wrong term in the first place. Asbestos has no sealing properties worth mentioning, but was widely used in insulation (heat, noise) until its carcinogenig properties were discovered. Hence "isolasjonsmateriale" => Insulation material.
