Finishing

First of all I looked at the definition of the word in the context of printing:

"השבחה
פעולות גימור של מוצר הדפוס לשם הבאתו למיטבו כגון ציפויים , סוגי לכה שונים, הטבעות והבלטות."
http://www.orion-books.co.il/fq2_מילון-מונחים.aspx

So, basically it's the finishing processes such as binding, coatings, embossing.

The trouble is that in English, the term "finishing" is quite inclusive and includes all processes after the work has rolled off the press:

"Finishing In printing, the term "finishing" is used to cover the operations that take place after the actual print run and lead to the finished printed product. Depending on the type of product, this includes folding, collating and trimming of the printed sheets, as well as binding and possibly also packing."
http://www.smallprintingsolutions.com/docs/Heidelberg_Glossa...

"when we say Print Finishing we mean anything that happens to your printing, after the work has rolled off the printing presses."
http://printquote.printhouse.co.uk/2009/06/print-finishing-g...

"Binding and finishing are those activities performed on printed material after printing. Binding involves the fastening of individual sheets together, while finishing involves additional decorative actions, such as die-stamping, embossing, etc"
http://printwiki.org/Binding_and_Finishing

In my opinion, all of the "השבחות" would be included in the English "finishing".

If you really are uncomfortable with conflating them then I think you'd have to describe it, so something like "post-finishing processes". However, this wouldn't be totally accurate in English IMO i.e. the inclusiveness of the English publishing term "finishing" should be respected/accepted.
