From a laser product specification. The individual components of this mysterious thing are being described.
I don't understand Aufwickelhaspel at all. Haspel is a coiler. Aufwickeln means to coil. So you've got a coiling coiler! Where's the sense in that? Why not call it a Haspel and be done with it? I suppose I could say something like "windup coiler" or "rollup coiler", but can find no search engine hits for these. TIA for helping me make some sense of this.
