Beef cuts
Context: in a list of cuts of beef on sale in supermarkets.
Seems obvious but...I'm getting conflicting answers from dictionaries and online sources.
Not one of my specialist areas. Please help!

Beware!
Can only repeat Jane's advice: chances are the animals are not cut up the same way. The similarity of "beefsteak/bifteck" and "rumsteck/rumpsteak" is no guarantee that we are talking about the same thing, but possibly a French variation thereof. I'm not even sure that "beefsteak" corresponds to any particular part of the animal (cf. rumpsteak, fillet steak, T-bone steak, etc.), whereas I think "bifteck" does.
Note also that "bifteck" is used for a cut from other animals, notably horsemeat, as in "bifteck de cheval"!
