(ten) thousand yuan version
for discriminating between 10,000, 20,000, 30,000 and 40,000 yuan version...
2 hrs
10,000 Yuan edition, 20,000 Yuan edition etc.
With only limited context given, I tend to interpret this as a reprint of a Yuan (dynasty) edition of some book, i.e. quantity of reprints, not money/dollars.
In the following sample sentences, please note that in old Chinese, the words 板 and 版 were interchangeable.

Hi Joyce, I just want to add that my initial thought was to interpret 元 as meaning 'first' or 'primary', e.g. 元配,元首. But when I search for examples of 元版,in this sense, a 'first edition', I could only find what I have already provided. It seems that this simple word as used in your case is highly context dependent. Hope this helps..
