@Pierrick - I used to recommend using "tweet" for Weibo, and still would in certain contexts, but I think Weibo is just about well enough known that we can use the word directly. Whether it will turn into a verb, I don't know

Yes, that makes sense. I which case I would not make the distinction in English. I don't think I've ever seen it made - particularly in Twitter, we don't vary the verb depending on whether it's a response or not. It's all tweeting.

Discussion
On the other hand we are not sure if they know about Weibo (I am not sure myself if Weibo is a Chinese generic term for microblogging or if it is a brand name only relevant to Sina Weibo). As for BBS, I just know it is some kind of communication tool for techies. But I am not the ultimate reference in the field..
