I'm sorry about the duplicate question with different language pairs. I didn't get any replies from Venezuela or other parts of Latin America.
Is it okay to translate it as Fem "in" this type of context?

I seem to recall that the effeminate vs. masculine divide had been around, both in the UK and in Spain / on the Spanish Islands of Majorca aka Mallorca and the Canaries, in the Swinging Nineeteen Sixties, albeit the former not called 'femme' in French back then.
A “femme lesbian” is a lesbian with a more feminine-leaning style or energy. They are the one in the relationship who might wear a dress to a wedding and actually knows how to walk in heels (even if they’re just kitten heels).
Femme is a term traditionally used to describe a lesbian woman who exhibits a feminine identity or gender presentation.
