water was cold, and it started to burble only upon the witch's incantations

Burble: قل قل کردن
چون تاکید روی صدای «قل قل کردن» هست فعل بویل معادل مناسبی برای قل قل کردن نیست

The water was cold and would boil only by the witch's spell

The water was cold and would boil only by the witch's spell.

Cambridge:
Spell: spoken words that are thought to have magical power, or (the condition of being under) the influence or control of such words:

The witch cast/put a spell on the prince and he turned into a frog.

Although cold, the water was bubbling only by the witch's incantation

All my colleagues' answers are fine, yet I suggest this answer because:
1. I prefer "bubbling" over "boiling", because as the story says the water is cold and it is only making bubbles by the magic produced by the witch; and to use "boiling" shows that the water is hot!

2. I prefer "incantation" over "spell" or "word" because, in sorcery, to use a "spell" means using a particular word to produce magic but "incantation" can vary from a word to a whole page. An example for an incantation: Double, double toil and trouble / Fire burn, and cauldron bubble!
You can also google the difference between "spell", "incantation", and other words used for casting magic!
