: Ha! Now I know what irritated me about this term: "PP" and "Kontrast" actually don't go together; it should be PP-Index (size ratio) or "MR" (Mark-Rinden)-Kontrast (or, better, Differenzierung). Could the author have grabbed the wrong acronym, or word?
