GPS description
Bonjour,
Je traduis un petit article consacré à un GPS portable (portatif?) et je ne trouve aucune traduction du terme "waymark"
Voici le contexte:
It’s not a touchscreen affair, but the controls are intuitive, the menu reassuringly familiar and the simple joystick allows you to program in waymarks and plot routes in three easy clicks.
Merci de vos suggestions!

If I'm understanding the context correctly, all it is really referring to is points you wish to go through' — 'waymarks' is perhaps not an entirely appropriate term here.

: Usally we use the term "waypoint" for Navigation System (especially in aeronautique). Obviously, that is the meaning.

Merci, Philippe ! Yes, "waypoint" is exactly the term I was trying to think of ;-)
