German term

Frontalformat

German to English Social Sciences Education / Pedagogy classroom structure
The context is restructuring approaches to seminars in medical school training.

or

I've determined that Präsenzphase refers to a "face-to face" approach (or what was once called "pair work" when I was teaching back in the last century).

Is Frontalformat just another way of "face-to-face" or is it the traditional classroom structure where everyone faces the instructor?

vs. interactive format.
