Portuguese term

levamos essa bandeira com muito zelo

Portuguese to English Marketing Marketing / Market Research Customer satisfaction survey
Hi,

I really hope you can help me with this. I'm struggling with a few phrases in a customer satisfaction survey, which I will post as separate questions.

The customer satisfaction survey was sent to animal farmers from a company that produces additives and nutrients for animal production.

The survey is from Brazil and is to be translated into UK English.

The question was:
"Is there anything else that you would like to share with [company name]?"

The full answer was:
"levamos essa bandeira com muito zelo"

I was thinking something like "we are happy to fly the flag"?

However, I could be way off because I can't make sense of it as there is not much other context.

Many thanks for your help!! Greatly appreciated as always :)

Change log

Oct 17, 2016 21:02: Daniel Pimentel changed "Level" from "Non-PRO" to "PRO"

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

PRO (3): Mario Freitas, Ana Cravidao, Daniel Pimentel

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Mario Freitas Oct 17, 2016:
Pro Again, Kerry. These questions require a professional translator to interpret them. They are "Pro".
Paulinho Fonseca Oct 17, 2016:
@Kerryann,

pelo que entendo, o lema é manter sempre a qualidade, zelando pelo nome e reputação da empresa.

we totally carry the flag

e.g.,
So look - yes, we're going to keep being vocal about this and this discussion will go on - and you can totally carry the flag for Markus and his social engineering plan, hey - even Lewis Terman had his advocates - doesn't mean he was right, or that his principles were any less moronic.
