bowel sounds
The medical name is borborygmus =a rumbling noise caused by propulsion of gas through the intestines

However, in the given context I'd go with bowel sounds
It can be a symptomof IBS, but not the syndrome itself

: BORBOTTIO - BORBOTII (old Italian would require a double I)

MIchaela's solution might not be the most appropriate if the context is something like "if your furry friend has ..."
it might be more like " growling/rumbling bowel sounds/noises/tummy..."
"Bowel sounds" seems to need some qualification
