Spanish term

factor de caida

Spanish to English Marketing Advertising / Public Relations Estudios de mercado, mode

"Sales continue to be affected by a fall factor. But since November 10, this factor has slowed down, so that sales have recovered."

agree TechLawDC : an economic downturn, not just a downturn (too colloquial)

agree DLyons : "economic downturn" sounds good.

Thank you, DLyons - Mike
neutral FVS (X) : No. You can't then go on to say this downturn is decreasing and therefore sales are increasing. The concept of factor must be introduced.

Remember the "sales continue to be affected by a XXXXXX" does "downturn", "slump", "drop", etc...fit in well in place of XXXXX? AND fit in with the next sentence as FVS points out??
