I can translate 'acróstico' readily enough as 'acrostic' or maybe 'acronym' but neither of these makes sense in the context of my translation.
This is in a letter to the sponsor of a clinical trial from a Comité de Docencia (which appears to function like a Research Ethics Committee) in Argentina:
" Protocolo de Investigación: (acróstico): X1234-Z000-123 " [fictitious numbers].
I found a similar example on line: "Protocolo (acróstico) P903-06"
What does acróstico mean in this context? I've never seen this before! Gracias.
