Its member firms received either a Hauptzertifikat or an Auszugszertifikat. I know that Auszug is an excerpt, but “excerpt certificate” doesn’t make much sense. Any idea what the idea is?
X wurde im Rahmen der jährlichen Begutachtungen zur DIN EN ISO 9001 Zertifizierung durch die Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zertifizierung von Managementsystemen (DQS) geprüft. Das Qualitätsmanagement-Zertifikat wurde auf die aktuelle Norm DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 umgestellt.
Deckungsgleich zur DIN EN ISO 9001 wurde die ISO/IEC 27001 Zertifizierung von der DQS für folgende X-Gesellschaften ausgesprochen:
• Hauptzertifikat für die X AG für die Geschäftsbereiche Audit, Tax und Advisory
• Hauptzertifikat für die X Service GmbH (Information Technology Services Facility Management)
• Auszugszertifikat für die BTG (Audit/Tax)
• eAuszugszertifikat für die X Prüfungs- und Beratungsgesellschaft für den Öffentlichen Sektor AG (KÖS)
• Auszugszertifikat für die Y GmbH

Motherlode! I just went to the DQS website and it was bilingual, below the link for sample English certificates. The Hauptzertifikat/Main Certificate is issued for the headoffice while the Auszugszertifikat/Annex is a copy issued to the subsidiaries and only valid in connection with the main certificate. Also head office and subsidiaries may have different scopes certified.
