Studio stopped adding variables

About a one or two weeks ago Studio 2021 stopped adding variables to the TM.

I add a variable, everything seems to be fine, but when I go back to the editor, the word is not marked as a variable. I go back to the Language Resources, and the new variable is not in the list.

I tried to re-index, but is does not help, and it happens in several TMs.

When I open the TM in Studio 2015 and add the variable there, then it is recognized by Studio 2021.

Working with Studio 2021 has become very frustrating!
